Okamiden is the First DS Game I've Ever Been Hyped For

I usually only look forward to 360 and Wii games and just let the PSP and DS games come out and if something catches my attention I'll buy it. But since I saw the trailer it just looks like its going to be amazing. This game has gotten me back into my DS phat and now I plan to buy a DSi. I'm starting to play Okami and Phantom Hourglass which I never finished since I got a 360. Anyone else think this game looks like its going to be amazing. The DS is just the perfect platform for a stroke-based drawing game. And now I want an Okami 2 but I doubt it will happen.

For some reason I'm really interested in Okamiden even though I wasn't interested in the first.

I am looking forward to it and I always felt that Okami looked like it should've been made for the DS, but I wouldn't say I'm hyped for it. Hosetly I don't think there's been a DS game I've been hyped for though I've been excited about a few.

When I hear about a first party title by Nintendo for either Wii or DS, I know its going to be good. That's what I like about the Wii/DS, but when a third party developer tries to make an original game (not a sequel to a tried-and-true game) I usually just don't get my hopes up. Like Chinatown Wars, I saw screenshots and previews and thought it looked like it was going to be a total flop, but I was surprised when it came out at how good it turned out. Now I gotta finish off Professor Layton so I can buy the new one.
