Cause they never cared in the first place.

http://www.gamespot.com/news/6177813.html

This is OLD but in 2007 Valve was interested in making games for the Nintendo Wii.

Mostly games like Half Life and such (or new).

but this was in 2007, this is 2009 (THE END OF IT TOO!)

So....is it safe to say that there will be no Valve Wii games?

This is valve we are talking about. We got the latest game in their main money making franchise in 2007, and we've been waiting with out so much as a screen shot for the final part of the Half Life 2 storyline.

Valve isn't exactly the speediest of companies. If they are going to make a Wii game, we'll see it at the end of the Wii's lifetime. If not, we wont.

Considering that Episode 3 still has yet to even get a release date, I'm not exactly holding my breath. :P

It would be nice to see Valve put Half Life or Team Fortress 2 on Wii or even an origianl new game instead of a port. Only thing is Valve takes forever to make a game. L4d2 coming out a year after L4D1 is unheard of for them. However, IMO, they are one of the best DEVS of all time, they have an amazing library of great games and it would be nice to see them show the Wii some love.

Can I ask why you think they lied?

I'm interested in every single game coming out, I don't buy all of them after I see what they are

Valve was interested in making games for the Wii, after looking it over they decided against it

How is that a lie?

I wouldn't say they've lied yet- they only expressed interest. They hadn't really confirmed anything.

Besides- they're STILL working on the 5-8 hour game that will be Half-life 2: Episode 3... Which we probably won't see released until 2011. I'm pretty sure of it.

i think they'd just rather make PC games and then port to the consoles who can hold them. which is not the wii's case, sooooo...

"Interested" doesn't mean they will do it and like others have said Valve is insanely slow, so even if they had something in mind to do, they may have just never gotten around to it.
