Nintendo eShop Releasing June 6

It looks like the eShop won't be releasing in late May, but June 6. That happens to be the day before E3.

It might be an unforunate delay but if it means a better online shop, I'm all for it!

I'm just happy that there is an official relase. Anyone know when we can go buy cards for it?Nozizaki

June 6 isn't in May Nintendo...this is disappointing that it isn't sooner but it better be worth the wait when it finally comes.

I see this as a good thing, now I can get a 3DS prepaid card at Target for my birthday (June the 9th). As long as it is good, I dont mind a little delay.

This is somewhat disapointing. I really wanted the eShop to release on late May. But atleast we get a date. :)

Ohhh nooo now ill have to surf the internet on my laptop or Evo4g still. Seriously though, any complaints better be about the eshop and not about not being able to surf the internet on your 3DS.

Uhh they could have done that anyway? And probably in a bigger way if they had stats about the games they'd sold over VC?
It's not a big deal that it's about a week late, but I don't see this as something 'helpful' for them just because it's closer to E3. Just IMO :)

I'm assuming they'll accept credit cards like they do on the Wii so I'll just 'pay as I go' instead of buying the cards.
