I got my Dsi XL 2 weeks ago and have managed to connect to the shop and internet browser with no trouble.

But, when i try to connect to Nintendo WFC via any game card it says there's no access point in range and that the security is not supported.

I am using WPA2-PSK(AES) security... so...

Have you got any tips to how to connect to the internet via my game card?

I was also wondering about security for the dsi xl.

Can it take WPA security? i thought I read it somewhere that it could.

i think I will have to call Nintendo to find out. You might have to call them as well since no one here will prob know or answer our questions about it.

Games and apps made specifically for the DSi and DSi XL support WPA2 security but games that work on the DS don't. So you either need to remove the security or revert to WEP.

Is WEP the setting where there's no security password?

You can have a security password in WEP but the standard is apparently very easy to crack. Go on your router settings and change the security level.
