Nintendo club gold/platinum ?

What exactly do you get for gold and platnium status? I recently decided to take all these surveys and register my games and systems for coins to get DD games. I keep seeing the meter in the top right showing how far away I am from platinum. That do you get for hitting the mark?

US got the Platinum cards too. And the Game And Watch is a prize you can get anytime for 1200 Coins. 

Unless you want to buy some of the rewards from the store you should only register enough codes to get Platinum then save the rest for the next year. As far as if its worth spending time on the surveys..........it takes like 2 mins to do them.
