Hey,

I'm going to buy a new tv very soon, and am currently torn between two tv's.
- A Phillips LCD HD Ready tv, 1366 x 768 pixels, 26-27".
- A JVC LCD Full HD tv, 1920 x 1080 pixels, 32".

I am going to play my Wii and 360 on it, and was wondering if it mattered if I took the Full HD tv?
Does the quality of the Wii drop with such high amount of pixels on screen, or does it stay the same as on the HD Ready tv?

And another question;
I need to buy a component cable either way, and I saw one at a Dutch webshop (http://www.bol.com/nl/p/games/konig-wii-component-aansluitkabel-1-8-meter/1004004006193987/index.html) but was wondering if the official Nintendo component cable gives better quality overall?

Because €35,- for that cable is too much imo...

Any help would be welcome, thanks.

I'd go with the bigger screen, the 32" one. Though, Phillips may be more reliable than JVC. Also, component cables don't significantly help so if you honestly don't feel like dropping 35$ for those cables don't...it may not be all that worth it.

I have personally never had a Philips product that lasted, EVER. And I have gotten more than a few.:( I would go for that Samsung. Also, I ordered the Nintendo brand component cables online when I got my Wii on launch. I heard cheaper brands can look just as good, but Nintendo's brand is of very high quality. I've stuffed them in my Wii carrying case bag many times, unplugged and plugged them many times, and they work perfectly. Also, if they do decide to crap out on you, which won't likely happen, Nintendo stands behind their products. I would highly reccommend the Nintendo brand.

you will notice a difference when using component cables, but the cheep ones are fine.
