When you play ??? mode, anything can happen. Cause weird purple bob-omb head man says so.

The first Ape escape game owned, but then they went downhill.

Iam 90% sure its a new story mode.

It seems like trophies can fight, but only basic fighting.The_Nintendawg

ya, but havent you played smash before? your character is always a trophy. they are just fleshing out the story a little more. trying to give it more depth.

in 64, you were unanimated toys/trophies that came out of a toy chest.

in melee (you can check the opening video) mario comes to life from beinga trophy

this one just looks to have a more involved story emphasizing the fact that they are all trophies, and some villian (yes that is meta knight's ship, but who knows what role he is playing with those purple dudes) is out to distupt thier peaceful little fighting lives.

i bet the true villian is Reggie

i think that that purple thing has transported the charecters from there homes and turned them into trophies. Now he is forcing them to fight each other for amusement, and losing means being turned into a trophy again. After you beat every charecter you break his spell and have to fight himLucario6231

Exactly what I was thinking.

I think it most likely is a story-line. The real question is, whats the story? I can't wait to see more on it. This just proves that SSBB will be magnificent.

I woke up and jumped on my computer. . .and i have not learned anything new. . .

Im kind of upset that they put something like that on a DAM Friday! And now i have to wait till monday to see something new!

None the less. . .i do think that its jus the intro to the game period, cuz it shouldnt be a story mode cuz it doesnt look soley with jus Mario since it has kirby in the picture. . .*hmmm, thinking. . .*UNLESS it you can NOW PLAY A COOP STORY/ADVENTURE MODE!!!
