I also got a question, does this game have any other set of badges after the first 8? I havent played a pokemon game since gold/silver and I remember in Gold/Silver you got toplay in the Jhoto region andthen you got to go back to the original area that Red/blue took place in and you got to collect the original 8 badges.Does this happen in Diamond/Pearl, does it happen inRuby/Sapphire?

sadly no that was what made gold/sliver my favorite generation.
n events ( thes are like... E3, for an example, and they give this items ther, not sure wer ar this events)

I was hoping you would be able to go to Hoenn region from Ruby/sapphire/emerald that would have made sence but sadly, no. As for the items, you get them at events or with an AR but with the latter it isn't legit. It is rumoured that you will be able to get thngs like that eventually with the Wi-fi mystery gift, that would be sweet.
you get all of them in nintendo events through the wi-fi(mistery gift)(if you don´t know what is the mistery gift ask for it) but actually there was no event for them, so right now all of them are illegal (except the darkrai´s from the japanese movie), so... if you want arceus/shaymin/darkrai, they are illegal.O and the events are in some specify dates that nintendo will say, the most possibly way is in www.nintendo.com, because there was a nintendo event in 2007 but i get noticed of it ONE DAY LATER!!!(i´m not sure of what was it about) that´s stressing, anyway i hope this was helpful.
