I've been playing quite a bit of MK 8 Deluxe for the Switch online, and I seem to get a Communication Error or Disconnect every 5-6 races. I have 100MB down and generally have no other internet issues with online games when playing on my PC.

Is this just due to the online framework on the Switch being subpar or is there something wrong with my connection? If Nintendo doesn't fix these connection issues I will not be paying for their online subscription service later this year.

i get connection error every once and a while. but not every 5 races. something is wrong. maybe try playing regional instead of worldwide when searching for races?
also, are you playing with friends? or randoms? i find with friends its more likely to happen.

Also. there are 3 types of connection for internet for switch.

1- wired with a lan adapter https://www.walmart.com/ip/Switch-Wired-Internet-LAN-Adapter-NSW-004U/585749582?wmlspartner=wlpa&selectedSellerId=1375&adid=22222222227074661932&wmlspartner=wmtlabs&wl0=&wl1=g&wl2=c&wl3=186834341743&wl4=aud-310687321802:pla-293048327995&wl5=9030957&wl6=&wl7=&wl8=&wl9=pla&wl10=112561991&wl11=online&wl12=585749582&wl13=&veh=sem

2- 5 ghz dualband wireless. the 3ds and wiiU didnt support this but switch does. it is the best wireless internet.

1- regular 2.4ghz wireless... this is what 3ds/wiiu and most devices use. the worst of the 3.
