Mario Kart Wii vs Super Smash Bros Brawl. Which will be better online?

Mario Kart will be the better online game. There is no stat tracking- wins/losses in Smash Bros Brawl. No online leaderboards, and limited communication options with other players. Mario Kart supports 12 players online, 2 per wii console. And lots of stat tracking. Battle mode and race wins/losses, etc.

That's my opinion, what's yours?

leaderboards only show the people who seriously need a life, and for all you know the person just beat a friend over and over thousands of times just to get wins.

ssbb will be better just because each charcter gives variety, unlike mario kart in which all chars are the same.

MK... but I enjoy more MK so maybe i`m not being objective..

Thus MK = 12 players online, ton of track and battle mode :D:D:D so.. yea.. my vote MK :)

not seeing a random person's name in a random match, no voice chat or any kind of chat for that matter, no leaderboards, no customization with random matches taking their time? :?

not saying they din't take their time with the game itself but you can't honestly be serious if you think they put real effort for online.

i think Brawl might end up being more fun not despite the lack of leaderboards, but due to the lack of leaderboards because as others have explained they tend to bring out the worst in people.

in any case i hope both will be great and everyone here will be having endless hours of fun online with both of them.

you know, i am actually probably gonna say SSBB because you can type comments to each other and such.... but i dont really know much about MK WII so i am not gonna say to much.

But hey! look at the bright side, i am getting both games and they are both gonna be amazing!!

While I really like the stat tracking of mario kart, it all depends on if snaking is included. I prefer playing it w/o snakingscottie300z

It'a already been made official that snaking is in. You know what that means. Stat tracking + snaking = no chance for someone like me who plays for fun ... to actually have fun, except with friends. That's why a good friends roster is important. It also helps that I have 3-4 personal friends who are getting it (hopefully both games), so it might be ok even if random matches ultimately suck for me as they did for MKDS after a while.

fond memories of mario kart 64 in undergrad has me leading towards mario kart wii. we played that quite a bit more than ssb.

may have to reinstate the mario kart drinking rules. drink if you get passed, drink if you wreck due to powerup, and 3 drinks if you lose the match. nvm, i can't do that anymore.. ugh..
