Mario Kart Double Dash online?

I was looking at my old copy of Mario Kart DD when i say it was brodband enabled or something, before I get smashed and this gets locked I really want to know if Wii internet could be used as the brodband hookup, Mario kart Doube Dash online would own, and no I can't wait 5+ months for the wii version.

Actually Mario Kart Double Dash has system link up with the LAN connection. I remember I used to play 12 player with Mario kart DD. Doesnt anyone else remember????? It actually may be possible to connect two Wii while playing Mario Kart DD, but this is in theory. you may actually need an update.

But man that sounds like so much fun. I hope someday they let you do this if we cant do it now. When I come home from college Im gonna try it with my Wii and my brothers Wii with two MKDD games!!!!!

Yeah I have sent many e-mails to Nintendo to make the Wii's wireless or broadband adapter to emulate the gamecube's broadband adapter. So many games like MKDD and PSO could be played again online/LAN... Really it would not be a hard future to add... Sadly I don't know if Nintendo will ever add this to the Wii... I know I will play MKDD less when MK Wii comes out...

Give a woot if you want Mario Kart Wii to be 32 players online/system link up.

No that would require messing with already written code of GC games. Not a good idea. I think they should look into the future not the past and make sure to finally make a consistant flow of online games.

But i think that the current LAN GC games should work between two Wiis and if they cant do it right now then they should update it to do so.
