Mario and Luigi RPG's

Which Mario and Luigi RPG do you find the best overall?

I played and beat Partners in Time and found that game to be amazing. I also played Superstar Saga but never got around to beating that game. I picked up Bowsers Inside Story so ill start that game in a bit.

Partners In Time was pretty damn awesome. Haven't gotten around to playing the others though.

Bowser's Inside Story and Superstar Saga are outstanding, some of the finest games to ever hit a Nintendo platform. Partners in Time was good, but no on par with the other titles of the series.

I would pick BiS.

I've beaten both Superstar Saga and Partners in Time, I'm currently playing Bowser's inside story. My least favorite is Partners in time and my favorite is Bowser's inside story(even though I haven't beaten the game yet).

Too hard to choose between SS and BIS. Don't make me choose! :evil:

Just started playing BIS and am finding the game to be very good. I'm going to try and find a copy of SS so I can beat the game. I'm also in the hunt for another copy of PIT.

This series is proving to be one of my all time favorites.

Of the ones completed I'd give it too Partners in Time. Still need to finish Bowser's Inside Story.

For me it's BiS>>PiT>>SS.

BiS has an awesome plot and there is so much to do. something which the other games lacked

Bowser's Inside Story will be my first Mario and Luigi RPG, so I can't really say. Hopefully I can get my hands on the first two some day.

I've played (and beaten) all three games now, and I'd say that BIS is the best of the series. SS and PiT are both great games as well, though.

Bowswer's inside story definately has the greatest potential, but falls short in the end. I had gotten to the very end of SS, which had the best story,but never completed it. Parteners in time was possibly the best overall, though bowser is more fun to play with then the babies. You can read my hastily written but entirely true review of BIS here.

-Superstar Saga has the best story and writing by far as well as the best out of battle segments. The battles aren't as good as the later games

-Partners in time didn't really shine in any areas. It's a good game still, but is the weakest in the series for sure

-Bowser's inside story has brilliant battle sequences and awesome out of battle areas. The best thing about this game is that there is a bunch to do after the game is beaten unlike the previous two games

In the end I see it as Superstar Saga>Bowser's Inside Story>>>Partners in Time

I only played Pit and BIS and out of those 2 I pick BIS.

So I'm about 6 hours into the game and am wondering if Bowser is the main character in this game? I've played Mario and Luigi but not nearly as along as I have Bowser. Is he the main character or do Mario and Luigi eventually get more playing time?

Also, how long did it take you to complete the game?

I've only played a little bit of BiS and PiT, but Super Sagas was pretty good even though I neve beat it :(.

Eh...you'll get more time with M + L later on into the game. Bowser did have a lot of time in the beginning...

I can't remember exactly, but it had to be around 18-25 hours.
