This looks fantastic! I need to hurry up and finish A Link to the Past. I'm still hoping that the way you buy items from the shop and tackle dungeons is better than it sounds.

I feel 3DS games have the tendency of not looking very good on trailers, so the fact that Zelda looks excellent can only mean great things are to come.

Nintendo still seems to be refusing to show any genuinely interesting sections of the game. I think this will be great, but they're not doing much to get me excited about it.

I have to agree to an extend. Nothing has jumped out at me yet from what they have shown, but I understand that they don't want to spoil important parts. It isn't like I'm not going to buy it, but some times lack of interesting info ensures I don't buy it at release.

Honestly I'm more excited about this game than any other game on any other platform.

I am still a bit concerned about the fact the overworld is the same as ALTTP's.

I mean, I love that oerworld, but I am not sure about reusing it for another Zelda game. The overworlds are always a very important part of each game; they are part of their identity.

But at the same time I am very curious to see if there will be any little nods to ALTTP.

So excited for it! Still need to play A Link to the Past though.

It'll be hard to compete with Animal Crossing and Pokemon at the moment. I have reservations about the game, but the new trailer finally helped differentiate it from aLttP which is a good thing.

I have never been a fan of Animal Crossing (the wife and children love it though) and I spent so much time with Pokemon White that I might have Pokemoned myself out. Is that possible? I know I barely touched Black 2 and my hype meter for Y does not seem to be able to get going. Hopefully it will be rekindled though because X & Y definately look like the best Pokeemon games to date.

Yeah I skipped B2/W2 because B/W wasn't really my cup of tea. I've been playing Pokemon X and Y for a couple hours now and it's pretty great, especially if you're into competitive battling as pokemon level up extremely fast. X/Y also seems to be a game to introduce all pokemon into 3D not just 6th generation pokemon, so there are a ton of different pokemon from every generation on each route. The only problems I have with the game are minor ones at the moment, leveling is too fast so all your pokemon are over powered and movement takes a little bit to get use to because you're still in a grid.

Hopefully the Zelda XL bundle comes to the US. Sadly it comes pre loaded with the game--I always prefer a physical copy.

How so?

The color of the bezel around a screen influences how you see colors.

Black is the most neutral, hence why TV's have the black bezel these days. Remember that awful silver phase for TV's? Ick

Yellow and pink and two of the worst offenders for this, really any color that's not black is going to make you see colors differently on the screen. That's why I'm glad that the first gen 3DS XL's had black insides.

That sucks. Is there somewhere I could read about it. Kinda interested.

I wonder why they didn't make the inside black. They did it with the Pokemon XY themed 3ds xl. :(

Helping out my fellow 3DS owners so they don't grab a handheld that will literally mar every single game they play.

does white affect your eyes as well? or just gold?

All colors do, just yellows and pinks are two of the worst offenders

I was worrying over nothing. I decided to make a cut out of yellow/pink/green construction paper(very vibrant ones), and put it over the screen. I played for a little over an hour with each color(lost track of time while playing lol), and it had no effect with screen colors or anything. The gold bezels are not going to be a problem. =D

Now all that's left is a US release, and it will be all mine. Will look to sell the digital code(if it's not pre-installed), as I prefer physical copies. I'll part ways with it for 20 bucks, and use that towards the physical copy. :3

Does the US get EU bundles often?

The out of order dungeons have me really interested. However, I am not sure if I agree with the item rentals. I can go to any dungeon I want then buy/rent the item I need.

I would prefer if you get the items in the dungeon, then you go out your way to try to find the item in another dungeon. Similar to the very first Zelda game.
