Hi , I just bought a brand new copy of Last Story and I noticed very faint circular scratches on a weird part of the disc close to the hole in the center ( * see picture * not the actual disc , just for exemple)

I think that the scratches may be caused by the disc holder in the game case, and it seems to be a new type of disc holder ...

I have a question that some may find stupid , is there any readable data on that part of the disc ???

and does anybody of bought the game noticed those faint scratches ???

I am a bit OCD when it comes to video games , so I am asking you guys to be reasured and knowing that it doesn't harm my disc , thanks in advance

I wouldn't be too worried about it; I can't see a problem. Remember that this game uses a dual layered CD (or something like that) so it would look different than other Wii games.

hah, I'm not sure. Plop it in your Wii and play it. If it starts skipping then you know that it was damaged during the shipping from the factory. I will warn you there are some framerate drops in the game when there is a lot of magic circles.

Shouldn't be. I think that replaces the extra plastic that you sometimes see on CD/DVD. Data is in the bigger part of the disc as far as I know.

I was always under the impression that the larger portion of the disc held all of the data because the inner portion was more likely to be damaged by the casing. I don't think you'll have any problems.

I think your question has been answered all ready, but most of the data in a game is stored on the larger parts of the disc to my knowledge so it shouldnt matter.
