It was one of the few recent (well, recent to me anyway) Kirby games that looked like it might be good when Epic Yarn originally came out.

It's nice that it's getting a re-release, it's probably a game that deserves it. And maybe it's one of the last notable releases for the 3DS?

But I can't help feeling like the time and energy it took to port the game to the 3DS could've gone towards porting another game to the Switch.
