Just bought a new Wii U with Mario kart 8..but..

my mario kart 8 disc gets a can't be read or that its dirty? onlyy this game though. Supermario land 3d works fine... anyone else have/had this problem?

@farrell2k: No man, I just bought all this on saturday. It's brand new and I cleaned it with a soft towel that I got with my macbook pro insert the disc and same problem.

@farrell2k: disc or system? I'm sure it is the disc though because 3d land plays fine.

I gotta agree. If you bought the disc separately I'd return it and tell them that its not reading. Just get an exchange and you'll be fine.

is your wiiU vertical?

trying putting it horizontal.

have you updated your wiiU to the latest firmware?

if you did then then something is wrong with the disc or maybe your wiiU.

Sorry to hear that. I haven't had this problem, so it's most likely the disk. If you have the receipt, you should exchange it for another disc.
