I got my hands on a nintendo switch and the new Zelda game. After 20 hours of it or so I have decided to abandon BOTW. It figures that I would be like the only one not to like it.

So I was thinking about giving Disgaea 5 a try. I like Turn based RPGs, and a grind heavy game is right up my alley. The JRPG art style though, not so much.

So is anyone playing it now? Thoughts?

Played it on the PS4 before release.

It's the best game on the Switch right now.

I've only played Disgaea 1 and 2, but they were pretty awesome.

It's decent. There's a mechanic where overlord characters have a special ability they can use during battles that lasts for a few turns - ex: the fire guy can become a giant, and the chick can take control of male characters. If you've never played a Disgaea game before, you really owe it to yourself to try it. There's a lot to do on the games.

I am thoroughly surprised you don't like the new Zelda though.

I've only played the demo but that was awesome. Took some getting used to though, never played a Disgaea prior to this demo.
