IGN: Upcoming 2008 Wii games that should be on your radar

In the most recent Nintendo Voice Chat Podcast (episode 20), the Nintendo crew lists upcoming 2008 Wii titles that should be on everyone's radar for purchases:

Star Wars: Force Unleashed
Wario Land: Shake It!
de Blob
Dokapon Kingdom
Naruto: Clash of the Ninja 2
Guitar Hero: World Tour
Skate It
Little King's Story

They also mentioned some other games that they won't call purchases now, but they think have potential to become purchase-worthy:

Deadly Creatures
Shaun White Snowboarding
Lego Batman
Sim City Creator
My Sims Kingdom
Samba de Amigo

The only ones I'll be getting are LKS and GH: World tour.

Short on cash -- otherwise De Blob, TFU, Wario Land, would also be in my collection

They didn't go out of their way to glorify it. All they said was that if you're a fan of the show it's a game to look for.

They only listed games they've played so far. Tales of Symphonia 2, for example, has them excited, but they haven't played it yet to say for sure that it'll be a good game.

Naruto? i'm a fan of the series and i'm not excited at all with CoNR2, it seems the same game with more characters.

On the other hand, Little King Story and Deadly Creatures have my attention.

Why do people keep making these things? its not like people are going to make more games to feed your lists.

and i hope TFU is good cause i just finished paying it off so u have a test dumby.

When was the last time someone hyped Dokapon Kingdom on the same level as Animal Crossing or de Blob?

Have you even PLAYED Clash of Ninja Revolution? The fighting is a lot deeper than you probably think (and I'm saying this for CoN: Rev. 1 and 2, not Clash of Ninja 1 and 2, cause they added in the Y-cancelling starting from CoN: Rev.)

I don't think so they're talking about the games you should definitely get

I want to get Shake it, TFU (maybe), skate it and depending on how good it is the naruto game

I personally think the Wii version has a good chance of being better than the PS3/360 version- since it'll have a bit more content than the PS3/360 version, including multiplayer.

On the list IGN has, TFU interests me, I may get the Wii version before I get the PS3 version, but there's no question in my mind that I'll get the PSP version first.

The only other two titles on this lsit that really catch my attention are Wario Land: Shake It and Deadly Creatures. I only just heard of Deadly Creatures a few days ago- it actually looks pretty decent from what I've seen, so I'm interested in it.

Yes it should.

It looks like there are some pretty good games on the horizon. Wario Land: Shake It!, de Blob, and Samba de Amigo all have the same release date which is going to kill my wallet.

Why isnt' Sam & Max: Season 1 ever on these lists? :(Lyphe2k
