I want this game now!

I believe many fans of the Ace Attorney series have already bought themselves the fourth game last week. :roll:

The game wasn't released until the 21st in Canada, because they have to do the French translation on the packaging.

Last Tuesday, on the 19th, I called my local EBGames, to confirm the actual date that they receive the game. Their answer was the 21st.

So I dropped by EBGames on the 21st, early, hoping I could get a copy. But then they told me the game wouldn't arrive until the next day, and the same goes with all game stores or BestBuy or Futureshop. I was a little disappointed. :|

Nevertheless, I still made a 5-dollar deposit to have a copy reserved. I knew I would be busy for the entire weekend, and could only pick up the game on Monday (today), so I asked the salesperson to reserve the game for an extra day. The lady said she would have it reserved until Monday night. :)

Before I left the mall, I also dropped by HMV, just across from EBGames. There, they already got the fourth Ace Attorney game in stock. But since HMV was selling it for 5 dollars more, I just pretended the game wasn't there (even though I was aching for it, and saw the girl, who was also asking for this game at EBGames, picking it up). :x

After an incredibly busy weekend, thinking I could finally enjoy the game I've waited for more than 6 months, I went to the store like a happy little girl (well, I'm a girl, just not little anymore). :roll:

This time, EBGames has really made my day. The salesperson was standing in front of the computer, checking the system, and said "We do have a note here saying the game would be reserved for you until the store closes tonight, but one of our colleagues sold it to another customer. I'm really sorry, I'll make sure whoever sold it will have his head rolled." :|

I don't give a damn about who gets his head rolled not, the head can stay wherever it's supposed to be. I JUST WANT THIS GAME BAD, I WANT IT NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :evil:

Sorry, guys, I had a long day, and having my game sold to someone else has made everything worse. :x

haha poor you. I guess it wouldnt help to say I'm staring at the copy right now, idly flipping through the manual and just taking my time until I put the cartidge in the DS. heh heh

I loved the third game~ It's more complex~

Damn, that sucks. The exact thing with a reservation not being reserved happened to me on the Wii launch.
