I really like games like SR2, Fable ll, Oblivion, Fallout 3, and games like that are there any games relatively close to them on NDS?

The closest would be Sonic Chronicles, it was made by Bioware. You have conversational choices like most Bioware games but the gameplay is turn-based.

No, not really. A ****load of average JRPGs, though. I haven't played a single RPG on the DS that I have wanted to continue playing.

There are a decent number of cool JRPGs (and lots of average ones, as mentioned above), but given you seem to be a fan of Western RPGs they may not be to your taste.

In terms of JRPGs, The World Ends With You is probably worth a try in any case, Mario & Luigi: Bowsers Inside Story was great, Disgaea is no doubt cool and Dragon Quest 5 was pretty cool (though I admit I didn't play that to completion). :P Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey looks ace, but I can't afford it so I don't know how good it is, might be worth looking up though...

Chrono Trigger is cool as well, but that depends how much you'd be willing to spend on what is basically a SNES port with a couple of added bonuses.

I too enjoy Oblivion (:D) but haven't found anything like it on th DS. You could try any Square Enix game , that should get you started.

I doubt you'd find any such games on the DS, but if you're looking for a good RPG you could do worse than Final Fantasy 3 or 4. If you like stats and grinding try Etrian Odyssey (although its very hard and time consuming).

I say Dungeon Explorer is about the closes you will get to being similar to those games. Sonic Chronicles should be another.

It is hard and VERY time consuming. I have it too and almost crushed my DS out of frustration when I died while trying to kill Cernunos for 52th time.

For RPG on DS, I can only recommend you EO, because I only played that particular game, but I also read a couple of good things about Final fantasy, so you might consider getting a FF title or two.

I might get EO 2... I don't know, I guess I'm mazohistic :D.

Look up some videos of Fighting Fantasy(NOT "final", "fighting"). It's a heavily overlooked RPG. It's in first person, and has real time fighting(much like the WRPGs you listed).

The Dark Spire is an old school first-person dungeon crawler. I guess you could research it and see if it appeals to you. Very text-based.
