I got 20 play coins on my birthday

my birthday was April 21st, that morning i used my play coins up on Streetpass Quest(Find Mii) and was left with 0 coins, i earned the ten coins by walking about my room and left the 3ds in the house before i went out that night, the next day i went for a walk to the shop to buy head ache pills and when i returned i had 30 play coins leading me to believe i earned an extra 10 on my birthday.

can anyone confirm this?

maybe just a glitch or something because i did walk enough steps to earn the 20

My b-day was April 10th.

I woke up with 0 play coins for that day and went to bed with the same 0 .

The next morning it still said 0.

So i really don't think nintendo gives anything for anyones birthday.

and yes i am aware certain games like animal crossing and DQ9 give little b-day perks.. but we arent talking about games here people, we are talking about nintendo itself and the play coin feature.

i'll let you know in september if i get the bonus coins or not. would be a cool bonus, but this is the first i've heard of it.

I wonder if you can trick it into thinking everyday is your birthday, and rack up coins faster...

Shame my birthday was before I got the 3DS. My DS Phat made different sounds on the menu and Pokemon White wished me happy birthday though.

Hmm not sure then as I didnt go anywhere on that day so like i said i had 0 play coins for the day.. I guess I could always reset the clock thingy and find out if it does let me get the extra 10.
