@minedash11: Yeah, it cost $99 to get it fixed. Best thing to do, put it in the box and return it to the store if you can. If cant, then have to contact Nintendo, they will send postage and instructions on how to pack and send it to them.
Can buy a used one off craigslist or ebay if it matches your region also.
I broke my screen last year in a fit of MK8 rage. If it's just the screen, you can order a replacement screen for around 30 bucks and fix it yourself. There's no soldering involved, just paying attention to what cords go where. I used this video.
