Am I crazy?

After trying out the demo from the Wii's Nintendo Channel, it just seemed really cool to have the step-by-step directions and the voice commands. I just don't think I would get the same motivation from cooking out of a cookbook than I would from my Nintendo DS. I could bring potluck to family parties and people would be shocked that I could cook some of these recipes. And unlike most games, you literally get rewarded for "doing well" in the game. Talk about replayability! Ha! Ha!

If Nintendo keeps thinking outside the box like this, the Nintendo DS could really last a long time.

I don't think you are crazy at all! I just watched the video with the two girls making crab cakes, and this game might actually motivate me to cook for like, the third time ever haha. *runs to put game on list*

Buying a copy for myself and one for the girlie for Xmas... shhh... don't tell her. I hope she doesn't read this, come to think of it...

... oh well, honey... try to act suprised!

But I have had a lot of results with my other two DS "applications" ("My Word Coach", "My Japanese Coach"), so I'm with the poster who postulates that they will be spurred on to cook a bit more. I wanna play with my new game, but the only way to do that is to make dinner for me and the girlie... she'll dig it, and maybe I'll become a better cook!!!

You are NOT alone or crazy in wanting to pick up this title!

No. You're just insane. (Kidding!)

But seriously, I've heard nothing but great things about it. And the best aspect about it is that it really works!

Give it a shot.
