$300
But the console needs a powerful launch lineup, not like 3DS. I also really want a wireless Classic Controller Pro with rumble so me and my bro can co-op.
If 3DS performs well this holiday I can see it being 350, especially since people see the tablet-like controller as expensive.
What I'm willing to pay depends entirely on the value of the console, there's no absolute price barrier.
No more than $300. Nintendo won't be able to justify to consumers the price point being higher of both the PS3 and X360, so it has to be at least equal or less.bluelf
Sure they could its more powerful and has a fancy new controler. BAM! See I did it without a huge marketing team.
I'd pay no more than 400 dollars for it. However, i may change my mind if it launches with good enough software, but atm, im saying 400.
£200 including VAT.

Never going to happen, if it's $350-400 in the US (which I think it will be) the lowest it will be here is £300-350. We always get screwed over with prices like that:(
I wouldn't mind a few choices. Something like-
$299.99-Wii U, U-Pad and Pack in game.
$324.99-Wii U, U-Pad, Wiimote+, Nunchuck and Pack in game.
$349.99-Wii U, U-Pad, Wiimote+, Nunchuck, Classic Controller Pro (hopefully redesigned to work without the Wiimote) and Pack-in game.
I think it could make sense, draw people in with a fairly low price at $299 and A lot of people wouldn't mind giving up $25-50 extra for a few extra controllers, but if you already have them, why buy them again?
Adding in the fact that Nintendo KNoOOwwss that people demand the best price, the fact that DVD is not so much in demand, and no one can use Blu Ray besides SONY, that takes a lot out of the price. It's DEF not going to be the same price as 3DS, but by the time Wii U comes out, I think they'll drop the 3DS Price, especially to compete with the PSVITA price point. So considering that 3DS will prob be $199 when Wii U comes out, I can't see the system being more then $100 over their hand held, so I'm still stick with $299! Take into account that I also can't see Nintendo making such a big price jump. $100 more then the launch price of Wii? $350 for Wii U ? I just can't feel that. Besides the point that 360 and PS3 will be prob EVEN CHEAPER by that time, $350 just seems way too high and too cocky with systems with almost similar power on the market for much cheaper. $299 is $50 more then Wii, but considering inflation and more powerful technology, minus the fact that Nintendo likes to keep their prices at a sexy level, I'm still sticking with $299. Who wants to start taking bets?!?! ;P
