How do you use the Sync button on the back of your controller or the front ofWII

My friends told me it saves the controller to your system so you dont need to reconnect, but I have no idea how it works. PLEASE HELP ME. I HATE RECONNECTING!!!!

Press the sync button on the controller and then the sync button on the wii, they should stay connected after switching off.

what he said , they will then connect just by pressing any button . do this with both controllers if both aren't connecting when you press any button. they will also turn the wii on with the power button and work when the wii is on.

Press the button on your wii and wiimote and then after a few seconds press a few buttons, it should work.
