I usually try to buy new games at the local Costco, saving me about $5 a game. I occasionally buy budget games online.

Buy new if i really want the game and the game have great reviews.

Buy new and wait for a price drop if the game is average and i don't really care about waiting to get it.

Used is always an option if the deal is good and the game is in good condition.

Haha nice.

I usually end up buying at full price, because if I want a game, I REALLY want it.

If it's a game I want, I'll buy it. Otherwise, I usually wait for a price drop or don't get it. Like, if I'm on the fence of getting it or not, I usually don't.

I rent them through GameFly. But that's only because I don't have the money to go out and buy games very often.

Typically #2, though I will do #1 sometimes (every time for Nintendo games).

Gamefly. Wii games never last me long enough to buy. (Except for Smash bros and few others)

I buy new games. Unless the game isn't in print anymore (Such as NES games), at which point I head to eBay.

If you buy used games, or wait for the price to drop, you're hurting the developers more than you you could imagine.

I like good games, and want to see more of them in the future. That's why I support the good ones when they come out.

Usually new at full price. Sometimes I'll be late to the party and get it cheap. I only buy used when there is no option to get it new (Windwaker when I got my gamecube after my PS2 broke) and since the local video rental store closed down I never rent.

Two of those options apply to me, actually. I buy them, unused, from a store. Sometimes full-priced, sometimes after it has dropped. It depends on how long after its release I go to the store. Usually don't go on release day, but sometimes I go shortly afterwards, if my excitement is high enough. Otherwise, I wait a while, not neccessarily waiting for a price drop, but I do buy games after they get price-cuts.

I get them two different ways, along with games on all my others systems. I purchase them at a ware house district in Manhattan, most games go for half price, $30 Wii games ;), and sometimes I just get them free.

Depending on the deal I'll buy used or new on ebay. In fact, yesterday I just bought Super Mario Galaxy new for $20 w/ free S&H. Great deal.

If it is a game I have been waiting for a long time, I will get it at full price on the first day.

I almost always get games after they have a price drop. I bought one game on launch day, that was Mario Kart Wii, and a couple other games before a price drop, but by the time I get to a game it usually has dropped somewhat. I say it is my way of justifying me buying all my games new and not trading them in (which everyone I know says it is completly crazy and a waste of money, but all well) I have like 15 games I need to play through right now, just on Wii, so I don't really need any games for a while, but there will be some new ones being added soon.

I will probably end up buying New Super Mario Bros Wii and Super Mario Galaxy 2 at full price (or whatever Amazon is charging at the time) because I can't wait to get my paws on those games... hmmm. I guess I should get to finishing Super Mario Galaxy though, I love the game but can't play it as much as I would like because everytime I start play, I never want to stop!

Who has enough patience to wait for price drops? The good games never go down in price.

I buy used when I'm sure I can get the game complete (disc, case, insert, and manual). I'm a collector, so that's important to me. If I can't find it used as such, then I'll buy it new.

I buy the games full price when I know for sure I like them and have wanted them for a while. If there's 'meh' games I'll usually wait untill I can buy them second hand.
