Or the question should be, How do you game? Do you chip a way at games in small pieces and drag them out or do you start a game and have to finish it quickly by playing for hours at a time?

I noticed today that I still haven't finished Galaxy and I got it for Christmas. I'll play it and get 1 or 2 stars at a time and quit playing. I do that with a lot of games. I'll play for a half hour here, 20 mintues there; mostly because I am busy doing other things. I'm still working on MP3 too. it's hard to play that game in short incriments because there can be some long gaps between save points in certain missions.

So, I was curious, how do most of you play?

it depends on what kind of game it is.

I Blasted through the first 60 stars in a matter of days on galaxy but once I got to that point I've really been dragging it out. I've yet to break 90 stars.

I blasted through GHIII expert 7 hours after the game came out.

I've yet to beat Resident Evil 4.

I've yet to beat Metroid Prime 3

I chipped away at Sonic and the Secret Rings until I beat it. Now I only go back and play the "head for the goal" levels.

The DMC I've tended to play almost straight through as well but that's a topic for another board.

I'll buy a game, play it for a few days, then never finish it until months later. It's a combination of laziness and having a bunch of other games I still need to beat.

It really depends on how much time I have to play games. But if I have the time, I like to finish games as quickly as possible.

I usually beat games immediately and then usually never touch them again for a long time unless I bought it for the multiplayer.

When I get a new game, I sometimes "No Life" the game until its beaten or theres not extra content.

Ex. When I got Twilight Princess and Galaxy, I locked myself in my room and played for around 17 hours a day.

I beat twilight princess with all hearts in 3 days and Galaxy with 120 stars in 2.

Other examples are Metroid Zero Mission, Minish Cap, Shining Soul and Riviera. All one day games.

I lock myself in my room and don't emerge until I am victorious. Zelda nearly starved me to death with its 60+ hours of gaming

I focus on one game. If the game was really fun the first time, I will usually play through it again or I just find another game. I beat games on my own pace which is about 2-3 hours in the afternoon and then a break. Sometimes, I play another hour after dinner.

It depends on how much time I have and how much I like the game. If I have a lot of time and I really like the game I could play it for hours and hours and beat it within a few days. If I am busy or if I lose intrest in the game quickly, I'll play a game for a few minutes at a time and it would take me awhile to finish it.

Depending on how much I get sucked into the game I may play the game for hours upon hours without breaking (Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn and Okami). Other games I will play for hours, but will break occasionally (Metroid Prime 3 and Super Mario Galaxy)

Depends on the game, but if it's one that's immersive, I can often play it for hours on end. Probably my record streak is playing Twilight Princess for something like 13 hours one day, although that wasn't without breaks.

I normally buy a game and then play it heavily for a few days. Then I start another game and do the same thing. Then I play a multiplayer game, stop, go into a drought, go back to the first game and start over and then get further and then repeat.

It depends if I get really into the game or not, and if it's really that long.

In Wii's case, I remember taking a week of my life dedicating myself to complete Zelda: Twilight Princess... Same with Metroid Prime 3 when it came out... Mario Galaxy didn't take as long for me, but yes it got kinda deep for me.

I don't do these things often, but sometimes if I really do get deep within a game on any of the platforms, I might spend lots of time on it until I finish it.

I don't like to go on marathon sessions cause then when I beat the game I'm like crap it's over. Usually around 1-2 hours at a time per game.

If the story is intruiging enough, that is usually all it takes for me to play long sleepless hours.

Most games I don't ever finish, only the ones that I really, REALLY like. And it just depends what kind of game it is as to whether I play it straight through, or just every now and then.
