Hints to a Pokemon Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald remake

So i was wondering if there are any hints found in pokemon games that could refer to a remake of the 3rd Gen.

In pokemon HG/SS there was a gamefreak guy in Celadon city who said they are remaking an old game.

I wonder if there are any other clues. Feel free to post them here.

(i'm talking about apearing characters and things characters say.)

Well, a dude in third gen talks about how his projection of Pokemon dreams aren't working, but now in fifth gen, that's a huge part of gameplay.

I think if nintendo is going to remake a game it should be red/blue version. because it's the oldest it would interesting to see it with a make over with new graphics and in color.helwa1988

Well obviously they're gonna remake emerald generation next because they already remade yellow and crystal generations and next is emerald

I can't imagine a Ruby/Sapphire remake. I think those were the worst versions compared to the rest.daiyume

I wouldn't say they were the best, but they were definitely better than Gen IV and V. To each their own. :)

There's no reason to remake them when you can still port Pokemon from the GBA cartridges to BW (in a roundabout way).

I'd rather have Gen VI only because i want a graphics update. After the graphics update then game freak can remake Gen III.

If you have a DSphat/DSlite, the GBA games, and any of the 4th gen games.

I doubt every B/W owner has all of these.

Can't they update the graphics on Grey, assuming it'll be released on the 3DS? Gen 6 is too far away for a Gen 3 remake. Gen 5 started a few months ago.

The fact is it's still possible, so there really isn't much of a point. Besides that, with online, there's a way to get the Pokemon very easily.

They do gain millions of dollars for every game they release. I guess that's the only reason why they'll release it.

They probably will. It's easy money for them and they have always done that. There's no reason for not doing it.

Agreed. Still, I'm sure some people want the remake and I might torture myself into buying it. Here's the biggest hint we've got-

2003 R/S

2004 FR/LG

2007 D/P

2010 HG/SS

They've released a remake of 2 gens prior soon after the new gen. That said, it isn't a pattern until you hit 3. Also, there is no need for a R/S/E remake since you physically can transfer pokemon from Gen 3 to Gen 5.

why didn't they make pokemon black for 3ds. it would be selling a ton right now. a pokemon game at launch. come on nintendo, whos doing the marketing over there.

There is a pattern with Pokemon remakes.

1st gen remade in 3rd gen, 2nd gen remade in 4th gen, I guess it would only make sense to remake 3rd gen in 5th gen.

If they do remake 3rd gen, they should have it on the 3DS. 3DS sales would take off then.
