Help my mario 3 in 1 won't work

I have the Mario, duck hunt and world track meet cartridge but whenever i try to play a game it goes black but the title screen works. Help!

It could be either the game is dirty clean w q tips or the systems 72 pin connector is dirty or in need of replacing
