And 3DS would be nice but I think it would be advantageous to bolster up their video streaming services.

Do you think it will ever happen?

I doubt it.

I think the HBO policies make them a very bad match.

HBO wants one person to get HBO and then share their HBO Go with as many people as possible. That goes against everything Nintendo wants in the digital age.

I think there are reasons HBO is not on Nintendo platforms and its starts earlier then your theoretical development.

I think Nintendo needs more video streaming apps. Possibly something to contrast what the other consoles supply.

Its just another muscle attached to Wii U that is out of shape and weak. The current apps run better on last generation consoles (Netflix, Youtube, Hulu Plus).

This is very true all three of those crash often for me. I just use my PS3 now. Really disappointing:/

Just use PLEX, what is the big deal?

Use your mind, gentlemen.

HBO Go would be really nice. I have a PS3 hooked up to the tv, so it doesn't make much difference to me, but the ability to watch something different with a pair of headphones would be nice.

Plex Media Server. You use it to stream stuff from your PC to your Wii U. It works but I would prefer if Nintendo worked with the people behind the VLC media player to put the VLC media player to the Wii U eshop.

I'd like HBO GO. They should also get the WWE Network on there too. Nintendo should start working on this and a media player to make the Wii U a better multimedia device. And it wouldn't take too much to do.

Why is a six-month old thread bumped?

I don't know but I'm fine with it. It is my thread and it is still a relevant unanswered question. Why is the Wii U such an awful place for video services?
