I know a lot of people have been eagerly anticipating this.

Gyrostarr features fast action gameplay across 50 intense levels as up to four players pilot ships on a futuristic track, shooting enemies, dodging obstacles, and collecting upgrades. The game takes advantage of the company's proprietary Quantum 3 Game Engine technology, which provides advanced graphical capabilities. Gyrostarr's controls were built from the ground up to utilize the motion-sensing capabilities of the Wii.

Wow, I guess you never go to IGN. They've been tooting High Voltage's horn for months now (HV is the developer)

I just got Gyrostarr, I got to level 4 so far and 2 bonus levels before that.

visually its an impressive game, looks better than most Wii retail games. My only complaint so far is that the controls are not as sensitive as i'd like them to be but its no biggie. It also seems that you can play 4P a variety of ways, including if you have one person using the nunchuck and one using the Wiimote or one person using the C lassic Controller and one using the Wiimote.

So far its an awesome game for $7, high voltage has delivered with their first title.

By controls not being sensitive enough, do you mean the motion controls? I found them to be too sensitive. In a heated 4P match I would imagine getting bumped and jostled around alot which would mess me up in a hurry. (small couch doesnt help).

And $7 is the perfect price point for this game, hope it does well.

Pretty good. I made it to level 8 or so and am pretty impressed. Controls are a bit off, but d-pad works fine. Graphix are amazing though. I like the high-speed bonus levels where it just goes so fast that you can sit back and enjoy the show. The weapon power-ups are well done and look sweet. For $7, this an awesome deal. Also, it is long. If it really does have 50 levels, this is at least a 10 hour game, if not more. High Voltage has my attention. I may post an official review later. Right now, about a 8/10. Also, how big the game? 290 blocks does not seem like that much for all the good visuals. I guess these guys are masters of run-time graphics.

Still not as good as Chex Quest though. Or Tyrian, but NOTHING is as good as Tyrian.
