If your into it, and its out when you have your flight, Pokemon could probably keep you entertained for that amount of time.

Sorry about that last post. I also typed "Yeah, what he said", but for some reason it just put up the quote.

that depends on when the flight is.  if his flight is before the game is released, thats not an option.  i would recommend super monkey ball touch and roll.  its kinda childish, but its still fun and has some good replay value.

If you are a strategy fan, try "Prince of Persia: Battles". I've put about 15 hours into the game and I am only 2/3 of the way through it.

I was in somewhat the same situation around Christmas a few months ago and I bought Mario and Luigi: Partners in Time since I had heard rather positive reviews. It's an RPG but with action elements since you have to press buttons at certain times or else your attack/item wont really do anything at all. There is also a good amount of action and the game makes great use of both screens. It kept me entertained and I found it rather fun. There is not much backtracking and the game keeps a rather good and balanced pace. Also it's pretty good eye candy especially if you are playing on a DS Lite with all the bright and varied colors. I clocked in around 14-16 hours so if it is a round trip you likely wont be bored on the way back.

I'd have to say give Megaman ZX a try. It may not have the longevitiy as say a final fantasy game, but man is it addictive (in a fun way). I spent many hours just trying to get the highest ranks with each boss, finding powerups and exploring areas. It can get quite challenging and the different models make it intense.

If you want a more casual game I was listening to I believe it was either gamespot or 1up's podcast that a great game for a air plane flight is Hotel Dusk. They said its got a great story and it has fun puzzles.

Good luck!

Super Mario 64 DS is a classic and should last you 10 hrs. And it has good replay value. Look how long it's been around and its still considered one of the best platformers ever made.

if you like strategy games maybe you should take a look at age of kings  its not the typical age of empires game since its not real tiem but rather turn based like advance wars.   right you could check advance wars dual strike too.Â
