I dont have the game yet so im not the best person to help but from what Ive heard, if it is pressed down at all when you are starting up the game then it wont do anything when you use it in the game. I would just reastart everything and make sure that it is not pushed while you start it up.ag1052thanks , ill try that. only activision can come up with the best guitar, but give it the worst design flaw
When you plug in ur Guitar Hero controler and start up the game it sets where ever ur wammy bar is as the default possition so u have to make sure that the bar is up. webbut
Yeah I had the same problem and this was the solution. It can happen with analog sticks too. It has to be in a center position while starting.
It happens to me every once in awhile. I usually just open the back, pop out a battery (so the remote turns off without turning the game off) then put the battery back in. Then I flip the guitar over and make sure the whammy isn't held down and press "A" on the remote to turn it back on.
As far as the person who asked why you should whammy, if you whammy on the notes that give you star power it gives you more star power. Not only that, but you get the star power from whammying as you whammy. This means you can get some star power even if you fail to hit all the star power notes.
