Does anyone else wish that video game companies made games that are harder to beat. I mean you buy a game for 60 dollars and then you beat it in a week. I always find myself trying to prolong games I buy.
i think harder games are a blast to play and are very satisfying when you beat them. i think developers need to start making hardass games again. alien hominid was a great start.
Yeah, I'd definitely like to see more games that are impossible to beat, just like back in the old days. I don't mind short games as long as their satisfyingly difficult.
I don't like games that feel like they made the game insanely difficult just so that it took you longer to beat the game because they didn't have enough content.
I don't know if anyone else here played it, but Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of the Earth felt that way to me. I beat it eventually, with a game time of like 7 hours, but it probably took me 20.
yeah, I've had much more trouble with Donkey Kong Country since I bought it than I ever did with Twilight Princess. They make these epic games, but they make them easy so they get a bigger audience. There's no trial and error. I would have more Wii games if I couldn't just buy a VC game for 8 bucks that will last me much longer. And this is coming from someone who's first system was a gamecube.
