Meh, I use rechargable batteries and I'm fine with them._TheJoker_
wow, you don't even have one and your already saying they last longer.
rechargable batteries and a recharger will run you up higher than $30.00.

Energizers have been tested for decades while that's been tested for about two monthsJaysonguy
I consider NOT using Energizers a plus: If carelessly killing THOUSANDS of people in India wasn't bad enough, surely weaseling out of what would be considered fair compensation / recompense by any stretch of the imagination should be enough to make me consider other companies' batteries! A companies longstanding reputation should only be impressive if they have cared to behave responsibly over their history. Personally I boycott everything that abhorrently deceptive cute and energetic bunny represents as well as all other Union Carbide subsidiaries.
My Wii battery packs look like they have standard AA cells inside their sealed hard plastic case. Has anyone had any luck cutting (hacking!) these open to replace or upgrade to new, higher capacity NiMH AAs?

Yeah Jaysonguy is quite correct.
