On some of my DS games, when I shake them, I hear a jiggling sound, like something is shaking in the cartridge. Is this normal, and is something going to happen to them? Will they work later on when I want to play them?

didn't Nintendo carts do that anyway, like SNES. My copy of battletoads: battlemaniacs does that

They are actually propriatary SD cards, not cartridges. There is a difference between cartridges and SD cards.

I do not know why many on this forum say that DS games play on cartridges, even though they are on SD cards. The terms are not interchangable.

a DS -cart- is slightly larger than an SD -card-, plus the thickness as well

No offense but, I'm sure no one's really ever thought about that. Every one doesn't know what a SD card is.:?

Okay, but what causes this jiggling sound, because most of my games make that jiggling sound when I shake them now.

They are not exactly an SD card, but I agree with your idea.

my question is - why are you shaking your DS games? you DO know that you play them by placing them in the DS handheld console and turning it on, subsequently interacting with animated program on the screens....right?

sorry to be a turd - i just had to throw that out there.

1.If they play fine, the games are fine.

2. Why were you shaking them to begin with

3. Game eventually stop working.

and why did you shake your games? You dont need to do that to play. Just stop shaking your games
