Does Zelda PH deserve to be in the list of top 10 games the year ?

I say HELL YEAH . If you think about it , Phantom Hourglass is really a great achievement on the DS on a technical scale and it's got a great innovative control scheme thatmakes the game all the moregreat. No doubt on the DS , it's definately the best game this year ,AND IT DESERVES to be on that top 10 list IMO . Get World of Conflict whatever out of there ....... bring in Phantom Hourglass . What are your opinions ?

I agree, Zelda did deserve a place on the top 10 list. It's another great Zelda classic and everyone should definately play it (especially since the difficulty is lower than other Zelda gamesand it's much less walkthrough-reliant) ^_^

Originally, I was not sure how the control scheme would work out. But when I wass at Costco, I decided to pick it up on a whim and it turned out to be one of my favorite games ever.

I think it should be the actual GOTY. It's the most innovative game this year, by far... but, we all know that one of those same-old games that has mad graphics will win. Nice graphics are nice, but they don't make a game. I like FPS games a lot but c'mon, they're all the same. Let something that's actually new and innovative win. Now's the time for a handheld game to win GOTY... too bad it probably won't. *sighs*

i just picked up zelda PH yesterday. i never played zelda before. but this games rocks! i was about to sell my DS because i couldn't find a game a liked. imsooogald i didn't sell it. Zelda is one of the best games i've played. i've haven't been able to put it down since yesterday. im hooked!

It's an awesome game, it's a shame there is one major problem: the dungeons. The dungeons are all too short, easy and linear; and going through the Ocean King's Temple so many times gets annoying.

It should have. I think it was one of the most anticipated games for the DS to come out. It got a good score of GS, and everything. Should've been there.

Yes it does because it's DS's saving grace for '07. Otherwise I would have bought nothing for this year for DS.

I haven't played it yet, and i dont plan on it, I absolutely detested wind waker for its sailing aspect, on top of that I haven't been able to play through an over-the-head zelda game in a long time.

i dont know...i got a DS Lite a couple of months ago with Zelda:PH....being a longtime Zelda fanatic i was extremely excited about this title but im not enjoying it too much...ive complted the first 2 dungeons and to be honest couldnt care less to continue and finish the game. the controls work well...and i love the visuals....but the gameplay is meh.

God no, trash game. I love zelda, and I've been playing since the NES days. I've liked every single zelda except for this one. I loved wind waker too. Doesn't make this any less crappy.
