if i go on a website using my wii, will i be able to see it later? btw, im using the wii right now.woo! btw.... U KNOW!! *wink wink*Rabid_MoogleI get you. It is saved on your comp. cache. Just delete viewing history on your computer then download C Cleaner off the internet. Run it and it will wipe your hard drive. No one except the FBI will ever know. I learned this on my own.

First off, saving favorites is not the same as history. Secondly, saving passwords and screennames is not the same as history. History is just where you've browsed with the internet. Cookies are what save passwords and screennames. The favorites are saved on the Wii. It is most likely that the Wii saves cookies also. It could even save the history, but the Opera Browser, being only a trial, just does not give you any way of viewing the history or deleting the history and cookies.

No it doesn't have a history, and that's a bit short-sighted of Nintendo. But then again, it may be a cunning business maneuver, they'll be selling more Wiimotes due to clogged speakers and gunked up buttons. Please be careful.Ahaha oh wow "gunked up buttons"

[QUOTE="merch"]actully the history thing is a depends and yes. if u have wifi then it shows up in ur comps history. if you have lan adapter the history doesnt show up on ur comp. also from wat i no the wii has histry but it cant be accesed and is wiped clean every monday. the res sux looking at tat stuff.S0NICRThank goodness that someone one here is smart enough to know this besides me.
No, this just shows that the both of you have no idea how a network works. Besides the fact that when you have a cable modem, just using this as an example, you have the internet come in through that. If you are gonna have a network, a line is run from the modem to the router. Then you either run ethernet cable to all the computers or have a wireless router where you can do the former or have a wireless connection also.Â
Having Wi-Fi has nothing to do with a computer. You can have Wi -Fi and not have a computer at all. History is kept on the machine that was used. Therefore, if there is any history kept on the Wii, than we are most likely just not able to view it at this point in time. Seeing as the the internet browser right now is only a trial, it makes sense that that is not yet available.

You're missing what's been said. A PC CAN keep history of ALL DNS/IP actions that the Wii or ANYTHING comuticating with it or a network. Ever been to a Library? Their main PC that's connected there is keeping track of ALL the data being sent to the other PCs, allowing history viewing and blocking access to certin IPs. If a person has their PC off or no PC on their network, well then they have no viewable caches history to access anywhere.dont look at prono if thats whts ur talking aboutkingjazziephiz
lol, of COURSE that's what he's talking about. And why not?

Hmm.... lemme see if i get this right.Yes, you can view everything of their's but you must know HOW to get to this stuff. Not everyone knows this stuff. When I was over at a friend's, someone else was over there with a laptop and he was accessing all the stuff stored on my friend's family computer. Files, History, everything hooked to the WiFi and Router, he saw it and told us so that he could help so that weirds wouldn't have easy access to it anymore.
The pages you wiew on your wii is saved on your computer, so that would mean that it i turn my comp off or if i do not have a computer i can not use the Wii opera browser att all?
And if the computer saves all records of what other ppl have been looking at through the router they share, then i can see my brothers and fathers browsing history on my computer?
Sounds kinda odd to me but.... who knows, maybe they send the data to Nintendo and they look how many used it to look at porn and then send you a extorsion mail telling you that they want 1000usd or they will tell you mommy?
