Dude I played the first two and Brawl on Intense is easy. I betta ya have problems in game because you stink in it.

Isn't Nasty (level 9) the highest difficulty level?

And anyway Nasty isn't too difficult I usually come 1st or 2nd

It's so-so. I've played much harder at that level, but the setting still takes time to get used to.

I dont no about the subspace crap but Classic mode is pretty easy on intense i dont play the game much and i can beat it with like 3 continues.

It`s only a matter of time, after some time you get used to the hardest settings, and in the end the only difficult enemy is another good Smash Bros. player.

I can't beat boss battles on Intense. In fact, I can't even beat it on Hard or Very Hard, my little brother had to do it for me lol.
And All-Star on Intense was hard for me, but they let you continue as long as you have coins so yeah.

I play on Nasty (9) all the time. Even when I first started playing I played at Nasty. Intense in Subspace is as the name states, intense. Yeah so it is hard but when you usually play at those levels you get used to it.

To those of you that are comparing level 9 CPU opponents to those you fight on Intense difficultly, Classic's Intense CPU is a bit tougher due to their slightly higher launching power and resistance. At the same percentage, your chances of flying off the screen are greater than the CPUs, so it means that you usually have to be at your best to manage to get out. In any case, I would call Brawl's Intense difficulty 'challenging' instead of hard. There's always that one fight, level, etc. that can punish you, but as long as you stay sharp, you can manage. In fact, I've beaten Classic mode on Intense a few times without losing a life. Giants and 2-on-2s can be a pain at times, but the team fights are easier in this game than in Melee and the Master Hand doesn't have those 1-hit KO moves this time around, even though it is faster in this game at the highest difficulty and does a heck of a lot more damage. A few of the SSE levels are nearly impossible to beat unless you use a few continues at certain points or go through it on Intense from start to finish (where your lives come back anywhere a cutscene is involved). I've only played All-Star mode on Intense once, but it also managed to test me.

I played co-op with my friend, we don't really play the game much, and I only own brawl. But intense wasn't that difficult, I don't think I was ever yelling or anything at the screen. I actually thought it was pretty easy, we kinda just button mash through the game or just hit different buttons randomly.

I never play on Intense so I don't know. I only play it when I want to get the prize for a certain mode.

Subspace on Intense is definitely hard. The slightest hit from most enemies can kill you. Especially annoying on levels where enemies team up against you. Its almost better to just avoid most of the enemies in the level if you can.

When you say intense what mode do you mean?Boss battles ain't that hard,So I guess it's pretty easy depending on how long you play the game.

Since I play with Jigglypuff, Intense is not easy but I have beaten Classic mode on Intense without using a Single Continue with JPUFF. I've also beaten 3 computer players on level 9 NASTY in a 1 on 3 team match setup with JPUFF. Intense is difficult but it's the only way I play any game.

Depends what you mean. If you're talking about level 9's, no way in hell they are hard. If you're talking about Classic/All-star/Suspace, you're obviously lying.

Obviously they are hard. I have beat it on Classic usually with only 1 or 2 continues but I haven't beaten the whole SSE on Intense.

It depends on the players skill.

I have no problem beating classic mode on Intense without continues. Versus Lv 9 on vs mode is not that tough either. however I did find SSE a little more challenging on intense.

Once again it depends on the players skill. ;)

What I wanted was to see some changes in difficutly. I think Melee's lvl 9 characters are the same as in Brawl's, and I kinda would've like to see characters even harder. Oh well, I can just have like me vs. a lvl 9 plus a lvl 5 or something like that.

i find it funny how some people take Smash bros. single player so seriously, and brag on how they beat intense. and lv 9 computers.

Who The F*** cares about how easy the single player is. its only side things! not the main game! -_-
