I always have Wiiconnect24 on, no harm in doing that, my Wii doesn't get hot or anythingEYEInfernoDoes it get a little hot? because if not then I have to go and make a call to Nintendo:)

Hot means that you can't touch it wihtout having to take your hand away.
If your Wii is that hot then call Nintendo.

I've left mine on since I first got hooked up wireless. Since I have a small room the bright can get very distracting so i usually turn away the system. But, ive never had a problem with the system itself. It doesn't seem like it will have an overheating problem.

thewiiwasdesignedforthis, it will be warm to touch, however not to the point of being hot and passing a threshold
