Since there's no reason not to unless you don't have electricity in your house 24 hours a day there's no problem always leaving it on.

no. The only time i leave my Wii on is during the afternoon, if im home. Usually, my wii isnt on WC24, however, if im too lazy to turn it off from the main console ( :P ) i just leave it on WC24.

Hot means that you can't touch it wihtout having to take your hand away.

If your Wii is that hot then call Nintendo.

A little bit, just a little warm, no harm in that, if its glowing hot you might want to call Nintendo XD, but mine just gets a little warm in the center on the left side.

Mine is always on, if it was dangerous to your wii to leave it on WC24 all the time, then Nintendo wouldn't give us the option to.

I've left mine on since I first got hooked up wireless. Since I have a small room the bright can get very distracting so i usually turn away the system. But, ive never had a problem with the system itself. It doesn't seem like it will have an overheating problem.

Mine's been on since I got it on launch day. Its meant to be left on, thats why its called Wiiconnect24. Usually if something is in a "standby" mode its normal if part of it feels a little warm. I like the glowing blue light, it makes me feel important!

The Wii was built so that it wouldn't overheat. As long as there is room behind the Wii so the vent has room to...well, vent it should be fine.

I would, but I turn off my power strip every night to save power. I have about a dozen things plugged in there.... I'd rather have them all essentially unplugged when I'm not using them.

I don't because I have the Nintendo USB wifi connector amd it's a lot of trouble. Plus I'd have to have the computer always on, and that's no good.

There is no risk in leaving it on all the time. I used to for the first few months I had my Wii. However, since I haven't played my Wii in a month or two, I have it off for the time being.

No, I don't. My first Wii had overheating problems (or what you should call it) and now I'm over-protective with the new one.

Nope. I got sick of having that blue light start flashing and having to check what it was. Couldn't just let it go unchecked cuz it would nag me.=p The warmth from standby being on and the stories worried me too, so shutting it off gave me peace of mind. I'm sure the Wii is more than safe with standby on. Nintendo makes quality products and the malfunctions are the exception to the rule, but I'd rather have my peace of mind.
