The click that the DS Lite makes seems like a warning to me not to push it back too much.

Yeah it doesn't look straight when you lean it all the way back. It looks way better on the first preset angle.

They mean flat. Past the click sound when you open it.

I've tried, of course, but since the angle before the clicking noice is a lot better, I never play it while it's all the way back.

It's tempting while trying to play Hotel Dusk because it's harder to see if you don't, but I don't really want to risk getting a cracked hinge.

I don't lean it all the way back, the weird click worries me, and it's angled more backwards than straight.

If you lean it all the way back, it seems that you have to lean over top of the screen to get the whole picture perfectly. That, and the click seems like a bad idea.

Isn't the fact that anyone can push their DS screens far enough to "click" them in place signifies that the design of the DS Lite always took into account the "180 degree" / "flat" angle position?

if you lean it all the way to the back, if some one accidently push the top scree, it will break, and if it al regular position, you still have 50% not breaking the ds.

I always lean it all the way back when I'm playing Brain Age, but not for anything else. The "flat" position seems more natural for that game.

No. I angled my original DS, but the hinges got all loose, so I'm not doing it with my DS Lite
