I know that current gen systems only play a select few so i wanted to make sure before purchasing GBA games. Thank you for any assistance that can be given.

O.K. So we are clear. Original DS. could play All Game boy games. DS light could play only GBA games. THe new DSI can not play any... but they created a download station for all the popular titles. Any qestion please restait more clearly in the next message.

The original DS only plays Game Boy Advance games, not game boy or game boy color games as far as I know.

Ok well..

The Original Nintendo DS plays all Game Boy Advance games. Also, the Nintendo DS Lite plays all Game Boy Advance games. But the Nintendo DSi does not play any game boy advance games. I hope I cleared this up. :)

Also, they stopped making Game Boy Advance games but you can find them used (and sometimes new) in shops like GameStop. :)

Yes, you are wrong. Very wrong. A simple Googling for yourself would have prevented you from posting such drivel. DS model #NTR-001 plays all GBA games and DS games. Model #USG-001 also plays all GBA games and DS games. Both models do not play Game Boy original or Game Boy Color games due to the lack of the Z80 chipset. The DSi does not have a GBA slot, thus cannot play GBA games. Do yourself a favor and Google those model numbers I supplied you. It'll teach you something.
