Hello, okay so maybe I just got my wii, but there are a few japanese games i'd like to try but everytime i search this freeloader for the wii, I only find news from like a year ago. Has there been any word on it yet? Better yet, is there a way I can buy this disk?

thanks

Yes, they sell them at my local best buy but you may not want to purchase one since the new updates keep it from working.

So basically you have to maintain you wii at the firmware that it comes with if you intend to use the freeloader.

I thought that was the GC Freeloader, that was compatible with the Wii (not anymore I guess because of the Update).

I was wondering too if there's an official freeloader for Wii games, I really want to import some (I haven't gotten a chance to because there is no freeloader :P). I need my Bleach Wii and stuff like that. I'm gonna go check the Datel site, and see if they have any info.

Well I just checked the Datel Site, and found nothing really, just that one Gamecube freeloader that'ssupposed to work on the Wii. I'm too lazy to look, but you can search elsewhere :P. I might search later, and post again, or PM on any news.

Your right.

As of now I don't think there even is a wii freeloader.

Eventually yes you will.

Also since the updates come on the games themselves it's going to be pretty hard not to turn your Wii into a brick.

If this is that important to you just grab an import Wii and a power convertor.

You wouldn't believe how much I want a freeloader. The excruciating wait for Brawl NEXT YEAR in Australia is a crime. Nintendo needs to pay for it..........or give me a freeloader so I can play it.

such as mp3 which asks for an update when you put it into the wii, If you want to play japaniese games, your going to have to buy a wii from japan, also bleach wii is coming oct 9th so whoever mentioned that, it's right around the corner.

there is no wii freeloader atm anyways, just gamecube freeloaders, and if you want one of those, you should just buy a 50 dollar gamecube to use that with, as the firmware will never make you jealous.

I'll tell you what you shouldn't do if you want to play import games. You shouldn't get your Wii fitted with a mod chip which allows you to play import games, because Nintendo say's you shouldn't. So don't do it!
