Does anyone have any directions on how to change the Wii's NAT Type? I currently have a Motorola SBG900 Wirless Router. I believe that I need to forward ports for both my Wii and PS3 but I do not know how to do this. Can someone please help? This should solve my SSBB online issues.

Hello, I'm a newbie, how exactlyt would I go about giving the DS (What's that?) a fixed IP and making it the DMZ?? THANKS!

Ah, yes. The SBG900 doesn't support NAT traversal (a trick to enable inbound connections from peers). I don't know how SSBB works but my experience with online DS games was that they used completely random port numbers from match to match, making port forwarding hopeless. So what I did instead was give the DS a fixed IP address and make that IP address the "DMZ". That causes the router to forward all unknown traffic to the DS. You can do the same for the Wii.

Don't try port-forwarding a huge block of ports because I tried that and it locked the SBG900 up like a brick. I had to reset it with a paperclip (which blew away all my network settings).

The DS is a handheld console... :|

See? :|

Go to 192.168.0.1 / 192.168.1.1 to change router settings like putting things in the DMZ etc etc.
