I'd prefer to use the Wiimote but I haven't heard anything if it will be compatible.

Most likely it will be designed for the gamepad only. Will have to wait till we know more.

Yeah its probably the GC version, so I doubt there will be an option for motion controls.

Hopefully they use the gyro for some parts of TP HD, such as shooting an arrow, since that was the best part for motion control in the game. As opposed to random waggle such as swinging your sword.

Considering the broken and imprecise controls are directly the result of the broken motion controls I think there is a 0% chance they show up in this version.

I dont see why they wouldnt or could not include both. We will have to wait until they tell us more.

If they are included, they better have Motion Plus capability because that is why most people have issues with the Wii version (No motion Plus). If it's going to have motion controls, they need to be close to precise. They won't be 1:1 but get it as close to that as possible. I had no issues myself with the waggle that was in TP but I do see that the gameplay can be enhanced by accurate motion control.

I would love for there to be several control options. Gamecube, Wii, and Gamepad controller support would be superb. I'm assuming this is only going to have Gamepad support.

@nini200: It's not going to be motion plus, TP wasnt made for it like skyward, and if they did make it motion plus compatible for some reason, they would be advertising it

Yeah I know. I was just piggybacking off the OP as if they included Motion controls, it needed to have the Motion + capability so the sword swings wouldn't be Waggle based.

I highly, highly doubt they'll put in the extra effort needed for Wii remote support. Everything shown in the trailer is from the GC version. It just looks like a quick HD port, like Wind Waker, so boost sales and keep fans occupied until Zelda U is released.
