can you get JUST the GHWT guitar?

I wanna get a guitar hero band kit. but i also wanna get another guitar/bass. i could get the GHIII controller but is there a way to get the new guitar by itself?

i dont know if this is right, but usually they release individual instruments later on in the games lifespan. if they arent out yet then i suggest just waiting
