Hey guys, I'm going to be buying a Wii and Brawl in the next few weeks.

How much would at that cost + tax?
After buying it, do I need anything extra for it to work?
Thanks guys :D

We don't know where you live

Go to the online representation of the store you're going to buy it at and see how much that is

Pick up some rechargeable batteries also and you're set.

:p

Cali. I'm most likely going to buy it at Gamestop (trading in some games and whatnot)
Do you think that there will be deals on the Wii? or Wii+brawl anytime soon?

No deals on the Wii at all

All the sales on Smash Bros were the first week of release. Toys R Us is having a deal where you buy a game and get 20 bucks off the next one but that's over today.

The Wii should cost you $250 plus whatever the tax is in CA. They are not easy to find though, it took me a few weeks and I finally was able to get one... and only because I got really lucky. If you can't find them, they're going on eBay for like $400-$500, but I would just wait until you come across one than spend that much money on it.

Also, check out this website. http://www.nowinstock.net/news/buying-a-wii-a-beginners-guide/

It's a beginner's guide to what you should get with the Wii (the nunchuk, another controller, etc.) It'll help you with exactly what you need. The games are all about $50 each, unless they are used or have been out for awhile.
