My 7 year old son has interest in both the wii u and the switch. I am not well versed on gaming systems and could use some advice. He has a wii and a 3ds xl already. What do you think would be the best system for him? Also, why are these systems better than playstation or xbox?

Thank you in advance for any and all help!

The switch is getting support new games wiiu isn't

And since both cost roughly the same I'd get a switch

And about the switch being better that's subjective to opinion ... Depends on what game he's interested in

Some notable games are Mario kart 8 Splatoon 2 wwe 2k Mario oddeysey 'Mario rabbit Lego City undercover

Lego world's mine Craft

And if he's interested in fighting games pokken tournament also arms and then there's Zelda

If you are going to play as a family

1 2 switch

Just dance are also available and Monopoly just recently came to eshop

I'd go with the Switch as your son will grow with it too. Mario Kart would be a good game to start him on. There are are 2 Lego games and Splatoon 2.

While the Switch is without a doubt the better system, I'm not sure how well it's suited for a child. The glas on the Switch is utter crap and it breaks really fast. Only get a Switch if you trust him to look good after it and make sure you buy a good care for the Switch and to put on a good foil

Switch or 3DS. 3DS might be better for a young kid, and has a bigger library currently, but the Switch will be something you'll want to look into.

The Switch. It has parental controls that let u set timers on how much your child can play, and can download a phone app that even lets u know if he or she has been playing when they shouldn't. Plus just the fact it's Nintendo and all their games are child friendly :)
