Best Story in a DS game?

Im just curious about what people think has the best story of any ds game. For some reason i find it hard to get into most if not all ds games i have played i dont know if its the small screen the lack of voice acting(in some games) or just a lack of good writing in general.

But anyways i am just wondering what was a game you played which had you excited to keep playing and see what happened next?

I know some people might find the game a little shallow but I really enjoyed the story in Time Hollow.

I enjoyed the storyline in Sims: Urbz. After all this time I still enjoy going back and playing it.

The Phoenix Wright series has always had compelling plots and humorous writting. I still think they take the cake for storytelling on the DS to this day!

Really? I love Luminous Arc but most people don't like it. I'd say Phoenix Wright, The World Ends With You, and FFIV. Now for the best story ever... (Metal Gear Solid 4 comes to mind?)

Phoenix Wright and Hotel Dusk: Room 215 are both far ahead of everything else on the system in terms of narrative.

I'd say Luminous Arc is as generic as genericness goes. I think the only unique thing was the flash drive. I just started to get into the tactical genre so I bet it was just the excitement.

playin FFIV atm moment and lovin the story. cant really comment on any other games atm

Phoenix Wright series, best thing that i wouldn't expect to be good. best lawyer story ever.

Time Hollow, despite its lack of real gameplay, it had an extremely satisfying, creative story.

Professor Layton had a good story, despite that somepeople say it´s an excuse to do puzzles.

THAT twist.

Even if the rest of the game was terrible, the fantastic near-end twist makes it worth buying.

Don't listen to him PRofessor Layton is a fantastic game, the story line is decent, but its more about the tons of puzzles and hours of game play just trying to solve the harder ones. UTs really good, trust me I won't steer you wrong!

Fire Emblem was pretty good (if a bit cliched at points), and Mario and Luigi is always fun...

MEH, Avalon Code was kind of interesting but not that good. FFIV was also good.Now Professor Layton was ver, VERY, interesting. I had no idea what would happen. Pokemon is recycled. idk really so many games to choose from, most of em are already posted.

I have finished both- world ends with you and proffessor layton diabolical box/curious village. and I enjoyed Professor Layton's storyline more than TWEWY. especially diabolical box.

I think different people prefer different styles of stories. The world ends with you leaves great impression after you beat it , and you dont even want that story to end there.

Luminous Arc had a terrible, terrible, story. My vote goes to either TWEWY (for a new IP) or FFIV (but thats kinda unfair, considering it IS FF)

I like the stories in the Ace Attorney games. As far as RPGs go, the best story I've played is Suikoden Tierkreis.

Pokemon Games. (Diamond) Lol.

Chrono Trigger - I actually got so interested in the plot I began to research time travel. Then I just went back and played Chrono Trigger again

Twewy - Apparently it's amazing I haven't played it

The only problem I had was the puzzles that were really hard for me. (Not surprising. :P)

But the story was fantastic. I never saw that ending twist coming. :lol:
