America gets black Wiimote.

The black Wii console launched in Japan on August 1, complete with black Wiimote, Nunchaku and ****c Controller. If you wanted Wii MotionPlus, that's only in one color: White.

This holiday season, Nintendo is bringing black Wii peripherals to America, but hasn't yet announced a new black console. There's also a new bundle: the black Wii Remote is available with a black version of the Wii MotionPlus accessory included. Pricing is still TBA.

A black Nunchaku rounds out the color coordination. All that is missing is a console.Kotaku

Hey I just had a thought, when Zelda Wii comes out, and assuming it's WM+ only, if they bundle the game and the peripheral together, they should bring out a special edition WM+ with the trifforce symbol on it. That'd be pretty nifty. Sorry, off topic.

I knew they would start bundling M+ with wiimotes. Making the bundle black is a really smart move as it helps consumers identify the bundle.

Nah, I think the sleeve just covers the join. I think it would look better without the sleeve, it loses its glossiness.

This is true. My black DS Lite looked awful before I finally got a DSi.

Of course, actually using the jacket could help prevent a ton of fingerprints.

I'm actually surprised they didn't make a black console from the start, just like they had 2 color options (from the get go) for the GC. Or just make the black one from the get go, especially after how people responded so well to the black one to begin with.

Usually, the color black is the cheapest color to use in manufacturing too, which makes no sense to why they used white. Too bad I already bought a White Wii. I only have 1 Wiimote, so I'll probably pick a few of these up.

They should have only kept it white. Now they have (Well don't have to, but should) to make black controllers, black nunchucks, black c1assic controllers, black Wii Motion Plus's, black Wii Wheels, and black everything else!!!
